Welcome to Breathe and Recover

Our vision at Breathe and Recover Coaching Collective is to create an innovative and inclusive space where individuals can bridge the gap between body, mind, and spirit through the transformative power of breathwork, yoga, meditation, and mind-body integration. We are dedicated to providing trauma-informed, pain-aware practices that empower each person to reconnect with their own strength, resilience, and innate capacity for healing and evolution.

We envision a world where wellness is accessible, compassionate, and holistic—a world where individuals feel safe to explore and cultivate their energy, emotional balance, and physical well-being. Through our collective approach, we seek to inspire growth, foster self-compassion, and raise consciousness, creating a ripple effect of healing that extends beyond the self to nourish communities as a whole.

 Post Covid/Vaccines I was struggling to run in the mountains, a sport I have been involved heavily with for many years, eventually not being able to at all as my breathing was very restricted feeling. This situation continued for almost a full year. Multiple visits to three different GP's over this time produced no improvement. I was told I had bad asthma by two doctors, prescribed various meds including steroid inhaler all of which seemed to make the symptoms worse to the point that I felt short of breath while walking. 

A friend suggested I contact a breathing therapist, I found Breathe and Recover and spoke to Iain. The exercises he gave me to perform felt strange for the first few sessions but over the next few weeks I could definitely feel improvement in my breathing and my health. Continuing with these daily sessions I was delighted to be back out doing some easy running within 6 weeks. This was over a year ago now and I still do these exercises each day, I now run, as I used to, in the high mountain once again and my breathing is better than ever. Breathing correctly is a wonderful medicine, and unlike the pharmaceuticals breathing correctly has some wonderful side effects”.
